Spaceship Window

Printable creativity worksheet

What do you see out there in outer space?

Unlock your child’s creative potential with this drawing activity! Rather than following a traditional colouring page, children are encouraged to come up with their own concepts and designs. There are no strict rules and they don’t have to worry about staying within the lines. This enjoyable play activity helps to develop key skills such as observation, concentration and fine motor abilities.

It’s ideal for both home and classroom use and can be used as a quick warm-up activity, centre activity or fun task for quick learners. Just print it out and let the drawing begin!

Some extra ideas

  • Offer your budding Kahlo a palette of artistic tools. Think markers, stickers, colored pencils, crayons, even collage materials.
  • Encourage your child to think: is it somewhere in the Solar System, or much further away? Is it in the present or the future? What would they like to discover in space?
  • They could also imagine looking out of the window of a submarine exploring the depths. Did you know that more people have been to the Moon than to the deepest ocean trenches?
